L4d Hunter Life

Hi. My name is Brittany, I am a zombie, known as the Hunter. My best friend's name is Laura, also a female Hunter. We always have had a great time on our far off planet. We have found the technology to travel through space, planning to attack Earth... but we are waiting for the right time when this so called "Earth" planet has it's guards down, then we will attack in countless amounts. Well, on with the story now... Today is the great day, known as Kill day, we are free to kill and instantly respawn after being killed, your Earth calls it... umm... Halloween i think?? Well, Laura and I were sitting on top of a huge but falling apart fast building, staring off into the distant watching little Hunters and Smokers kill and be killed... it was so heart warming to see adorable little zombies have fun and laugh... or in our case, scream very loud. I watched Laura look at me, smile, then look over at the group of Hunters. "You can go join them if you want to... I won't mind." I said, lokking at her curiously. She quickly looked at one specific Hunter named Tyler, blushed, then looked back at me and said a little too fast, "What?! Are you serious?! Pppbbbtt. Like I'd ever wanna play with those dweebs!!" I laughed quietly and said, "Oh yea!! Tyler wanted me to tell you something." The case with Tyler was that he and Laura used to go out, but he dumped her. Nothing changed though, they seemed inseperable... but the thing was is that Laura kinda like teasing him. "WHAT IS IT?! TELL ME, TELL ME NOW!!" she screamed. "AHH!! DON'T BLOW MY EAR OFF AGAIN!!" I shouted. "Oh. Right. Sorry." she giggled. I looked at her seriously and whispered, "Laura... I... don't wanna tell you this... it's gonna hurt... really bad..." Laura was suddenly serious, "What is it.??" I slowly replied, "I can't tell you, I don't wanna see you get hurt..." She got right in front of me and looked me into the eyes and said, "Please. You'll be hurting me more if you don't tell me now..." I sighed, "Laura... Tyler doesn't love you anymore. He says you've gotten too weird for him... and that he's in love with Tabitha, the Witch." She looked at me... her face expression as if she was being slowly tortured from behind with and Ax. She started leaning foward like she was gonna fall on me, and at the last second fell back, falling off the roof without a scream or cry for help, only tears that looked like they were trying to fight gravity as they fell. "NO!! Laura!!" I screamed jumping off the building after her. I grabbed her in mid-air and switched spots with her fast. I was on my back, arms wrapped around her falling farther off the building. Then... we hit the ground. A sharp pain hit my back since I had taken the impact of the fall, but it was worth it. "L-Lau-ra. Are y-you o-okay?" I managed out... hurting less by seconds. She was by me on her knees, shocked at what I had did for her. "WHAT DOES IT MATTER!? I COULD'VE KILLED YOU!!" She screamed, tears running furiously down her face. I was feeling almost fully healed as I lay there looking at her with ease. "I love my friends. You know that. If I would've died I would come back knowing what I did was right. I'm sorry." I said smiling. "You are such a good friend Brittany." She said as she lay beside me and watched the night sky. We had fell asleep and I woke up to dee her awake, playing with a little ball with a faded sad face on it. She looked at me and smiled, followed by saying, "Do you ever wwonder what it's like being one of them, a... Human??" I laughed and sat beside her playing with the ball too. I quietly looked at her and a few minutes kater said, "Well we know what it's like but, it's been so long. So not really. I like being a Hunter. It has more, I don't know, life in it that a human life." She said, "Yea. I guess you're right. Plus, we've got cool powers!" We laughed and played with the ball a little more. I looked at her as I stood up and said. "Well I'm going to the top of the building... if you wanna come you can. But don't you dare go near those edges without me." We laughed and climbed to the top of the building, and talked about weird thoughts and dreams. All I kept thinking is, "Wow. I'm so lucky to have a friend who cares about you so much. Plus, she doesn't seem too upset about Tyler anymore. Oh well, I guess we'll talk about it later."
